BICROELAST EKP Polyester based SBS Modified Torch-On Cap SheetBICROELAST EKP mineral membranes are economical, high performance polyester based waterproofing materials designed to suit requirements of both new build and remedial roofing applications. Description: BICROELAST EKP is a polyester based, slate covered Torch – On Cap sheet, saturated and coated with high quality SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen. The membrane carrier is a tough polyester reinforcement, giving the material excellent dimensional stability and very high mechanical strength. The upper layer is coated with slate protecting material from ultraviolet exposure and lower layer is finished with thermofusible film for fast and consistent Torch – On application.

SBS modified bitumen roofing and waterproofing membraneApplication areas: Designed for installation as the bottom layer of roof cladding on buildings and constructions for waterproofing of engineering structures. Used for new roofing construction and for repair of old roof. Ideal for the installation as two-layer waterproofing for the foundations (according to EN 13969). Not recommended to use as one-layer roof cladding or one-layer waterproofing. Description: Bicroelast EPP 4.0 is roll-fed, torchable, SBS modified bitumen roofing and waterproofing membrane. Manufactured according to EN 13707:2004+A2:2009. Material is produced by two-sided placing of modified bitumen binder, consisting from bitumen, SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) polymer modifier and mineral filler (talc, dolomite etc.), on the polyester carrier.
